We loved this cozy, peaceful, pet friendly cabin. Our girls enjoyed the huge yard and the creek in the back to splash around in. If you are looking for the perfect place to unwind and get away, this is it! Beautiful views and scenic drives. You can enjoy your coffee on the front porch swing or the back porch rockers. We look forward to visiting again soon.
My Mother and I decided to get away for a couple of days. We were lucky to find Elk Run. You take a little side road and you are surrounded by trees with a creek in your back yard. The cabin is two beds two baths perfect for a small group or family. If you want privacy this is the place.
the people were very nice and personable . the cabins were good and they have early check in the creek is a great fishing creek in would recommend creek side memories . the only improvement would be to update the hot tub and other equipment
We stayed in one of the cabins for 3nights with our two dogs, and had a great experience. Location is about 1/2 hour from Gatlinburg, and very peaceful. Lots of mom and pop stores and restaurants around that we really enjoyed. The cabins are separated, so we had complete privacy. Cabins are clean, and everything in the kitchen is provided (dishes, pots/pans, starter paper supplies). Ours had a front porch with swing, rocking chairs and a small dining table with 4 chairs; but the back deck was the best--steps away from a wonderful little creek. Also had a jacuzzi. Gas fireplace was great, as the weather was a little cool at night. Had a problem with the pilot light going out, and the staff were immediately responsive and fixed the problem. Office staff was great from helping with cabin selection to check out. This is our second stay with Cosby Creek Cabins. We'll be back!
We have stayed at Cosby Creek Cabins (multiple locations) several times. I highly recommend them. The customer service is the best I’ve ever experienced. The cabins are clean, well-maintained, and beautiful! The owners have been so accommodating, especially when I’ve requested a cabin with just a one day notice. And to go along with these amazing cabins and excellent service, you CANNOT beat the price!
This is a great little cabin for a couple. The creek is RIGHT BY the back deck and has a wonderfully soothing sound while relaxing in a rocking chair or sleeping with the window open. It was very clean and easy to find. Of note: kitchen is well-equipped utensil, plate and cooking wise but there are no seasonings so bring your own salt and pepper etc. Also, it was no problem for us as there was no one staying next door - just be aware that next door is literally less than 10 feet away. The photos don't show this but there is another cabin nearly an arm's reach away. Again, this was not a problem for us as there were no neighbors but we were surprised to see how close neighbors could have been. Loved our stay here!!
Me and my husband stayed in one of their cabin awhile back and definitely enjoyed it. It was a beautiful view and clean cabin. It was a good distance from all the main attractions but not to far away.
The team at Cosby Creek Cabin Rentals was so very accommodating. They were so willing to work with us to make our stay exactly as we desired. My now husband and I were headed to TN for our wedding. Due to the fires in Gatlinburg we had to find last minute housing near our wedding venue. They let us pick a cabin last minute and then change our minds twice. Even refunding us some money for nights stay we decided not to utilize (due to the conditions of Tourist Towns not to the cabins). Alan was honest and happy to help in any way possible. What great people!!!
Can't say enough about how great it was working with Cosby Creek. We had booked our cabin months ago but a couple of days before check in something happened to septic system in our rented cabin. Cosby Creek went above and beyond to accommodate us. Upgraded our cabin no charge and even let us check in/out early. We vacation to Gatlinburg often and we will definitely be recommending them to our friends. Cabins were nice and clean.
What a peaceful and beautiful place to stay! My daughters and I stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin, and it was one of the most enjoyable trips to the smokies that we have ever had. The cabin was clean, serene, had everything we needed, including a hot tub and a place to roast marshmallows!! Will definitely be back!
The folks at Cosby Creek Cabins are great! Nice, easy to work with and very informative! Loved the cabin. Extremely clean. A/C went down when we were there, but they sent someone to fix it immediately and adjusted our rate. Didn't even have to ask!
We stayed at RIVERSIDE RETREAT the first week of August and had the best time. I was afraid that the pictures would be better than the actual cabin, but found it was quite the opposite. Their pictures don't do it justice! RR is a 1/1 cabin and has a hot tub on the porch with a creek view. The cabin is very, very large. Plenty of room. Everything has been updated and is super nice. The spot of the creek that this sits on is a great spot. Very flowing. We would take our chairs down to the creekside and skip rocks and just relax. Loved it! This cabin is a guesthouse on someone's vacation property, but the 4 days we were there, no one ever occupied the main house. We used their creek access to go creekside. We also saw a pack of wild turkeys one morning out the bedroom balcony. That was cool. The only drawbacks were the bed killed my back. Felt like I was 80 when I woke up the first morning (I'm 27). The bathroom door was SOO loud. Easy fix with some WD40, but obviously didn't have any. Never got the wifi to work either, but really wasn't inside much anyways, so not a big deal. Other than those things, the place was amazing!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone. We plan to go back again!
We stayed at the Bear-A-Dise cabin. Very clean and well maintained. Very nice area. Had a great spot in front with fire pit with a swing but we couldn't use the pit because of bans on burning. A few minor complaints - There was no wifi service at all The deadbolt on the front door didn't lock all the way Ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom was remote only. The remote didn't work and the fan was set to high when we got there. Makes it a little chilly upstairs in November. But those weren't deal breaker by any means. We would definitely stay here again!
